STEP 1:

Establish a principal office/business mailing address

If you don't have an "in state" commercial address, we strongly recommend setting up a TRUE Space Virtual Office for address and mailbox service. If you live in Texas, you have the option to use your home address as your principal office/business mailing address. Consider that addresses listed on your corporate filing are public and anyone can easily see that information.

STEP 2:

Appoint a Registered Agent:

A "registered agent" receives service of process, legal documents, and legal correspondence that are delivered to your business, in care of your legally designated agent. If you live in Texas, you can be your business’s registered agent when also listing your home address as the agent address. Note: A virtual office address can not be used for registered agent purposes. TRUE Space offers ultra-low cost, full service Registered Agent Services.

STEP 3:

Form Your LLC or Corporation

Once you have Steps 1 and 2 complete, click the CREATE REQUEST button to provide information so a TRUE Space Corporate Filing Specialist can call you. We will answer questions, check your business name for availability, gather information, process payment, and promptly submit your filing.

STEP 4:

Obtain EIN (Employer Identification Number)

Once your formation has been approved by the state, TRUE Space can process your EIN request so you get your EIN instantly. This is the federal taxpayer ID number for the business entity.

The fees displayed are based on normal domestic corporation filing situations within the state of Texas. There are special situations that can require non-standard filing processes or additional state filing fees (ie: foreign corporations, non-compliant corporations).
